Our Story
For most of you that know us, you'll know the story of how we met, but for those that don't - you're in for a treat; here's our story.
It was nothing out of the ordinary for us, we were both trying to catch one of the last drinks before (at the time) the 10pm curfew. We had been introduced by a mutual friend and then proceeded to talk away the rest of the night and then, the following morning.
Fast forward a couple months, and I (Gertie), decided to take Leila to watch the sunset with beers, music and obviously great company too. Once I'd worked up the courage, I asked Leila to be my girlfriend, to which she said no... after a few moments of pretending like I was ok with that, she told me she was joking, and that she wanted to be with me too.(I then asked if she was sure about 100 times after)
Skip forward again to roughly 2 years later, and we're in Greece on Holiday for my birthday, little did Leila know, but this is when I would be proposing (at the spot pictured above^^)
A lot of me talking and Leila crying goes by, and I get a yes.
And that leads us to why you're here, we would be more than honoured for you to join us on our special day, and to be a part of us continuing our story.
Honeymoon Fund
Your presence at our wedding is enough of a gift, but should you wish to buy us something, we'd greatly appreciate a contribution towards our dream honeymoon, so we can truly make it a once in a lifetime trip.
If this is something you'd like to contribute to, please send to

We would love to provide a bigger service but unfortunately we are only able to invite those addressed.
We would also like to keep our wedding more personal and private.
This means we don't have the capacity for plus ones or kids.
RSVP's will only regard those on the invitation, unless previously discussed with us.
Thank you for your understanding
Choose the Music
In addition to your RSVP, we wanted to ask a little favour.
We'd love if you would be able to give us 2 songs to add to our playlist - we want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible and think this would help in doing so. Plus, It's always nice to know there's at least one song you can dance to :))
We can't wait to hear it!
Dress Code
Black Tie Neutral
Get fancy! We know it's not often that people get to dress up, so we'd love for this to be the opportunity for everyone.
To fit the theme of our wedding, we kindly ask you to wear neutral colours.we'd like to keep it warm and natural so all we ask is nothing too bright or loud.
We'd also love for your help in making us feel that little bit less out of place, meaning black tie is essential for us.
However, our top priority is that those who attend, are comfortable in both themselves, and what they are wearing.
We are happy for you to wear anything that makes you feel that little bit more fancy, we're just happy you can make it.
(We would like to remind you to steer clear of anything white, too close to white or may show as white in pictures.)
Accommodation
For those that are coming from further away, there are lots of options for accommodation near the venue.
There are a number of hotels near by, as well as some lovely converted barns and annexes for those who would prefer a more luxurious stay to make the most of your time away.
Our venue also offers the option for all of our guests to camp on site if they wish. If this is something you would be interested in, please let us know. This option would be completely self dependent, meaning you would have to bring all of your own camping gear, however there are toilet and shower blocks on site.
Your invitation is plantable!
Invitations can feel like such a waste of paper, it sits on your fridge for a year and then goes in the bin. That's why we've used completely recyclable paper, which also gives you a bit of fun and brightens up your windowsill!
Each invitation is embedded with Bee-friendly flower seeds, so follow the instructions to make sure your paper grows and is not wasted!
Some of the seeds you may find are Sweet Alyssum, Poppy, Baby's Breath, Rudbeckia and Basil.
In Spring/Summer, when it's warm, soak paper in water and tear into small pieces
Place in a pot of compost and very lightly sprinkle more compost on top
Keep the soil and paper moist (but not soaking wet) in a warm and light environment
Once your small plants have grown, place pot outside or keep on a window that has lots of sun
